-About the work-
All of the products displayed on this site are constructed of 17-ply baltic birch plywood, an extremely robust and stable wood product. Each item is available in a clear, white, or black finish. In all cases the sheen is semi-gloss. The panes are of either white glass or acrylic. LED bulbs provide illumination. While various items may be on hand at my studio or the galleries that sells my work much of what I do is made to order. Delivery times will depend on present workload and availability off materials. Because these are handmade wood products slight variations are to be expected. No two items are exactly alike. Please contact me about shipping charges to your area. Wormhole Chaos Light

This unique light object relies on both a vertical and horizontal and vertical surface for display. A custom 24 volt LED light source provides even illumination and is fully dimmable to suite both the space and the mood of viewer. Work is designed to be plugged in to a standard (U.S.) 110 power receptacle. For a cleaner look the option exists for it to be mounted in a manner (pictured) in which no wires are exposed. Essentially this involves installing a recessed power source behind that wall where work is mounted. This would ideally be controlled by a conveniently located dimmer switch or remote. Wormhole in currently available in a clear semi-gloss finish over baltic birch or solid semi-glass white finish.

This particular work has a scalloped hand carved finish that approximates faceted stone or wrought metal. A glossy black finish serves to enhance the texture and add interest to the overall form.

This particular lamp is designed to be displayed in one of two ways. It can be suspended from a ceiling, alone or in multiples, or lent into a corner at a gentle angle as pictured here. A small non-skid base (not pictured) will be provided for the latter option. Available in natural or black color.

Layercake Chaos Table Lamp

This new variation within the “Chaos Series” of light objects incorporates light transmitting acrylic. This material is sandwiched between each component of its wood body. The goal was to add visual interest by literally highlighting the contours of the form. It makes use of a 24 volt LED lighting system and a special bulb designed for even light distribution.
